Reminder to everyone that this year and every year, Netroots Nation offers all of the keynote addresses and various workshops, via lifestream and video, for progressives who are unable to attend. I was lucky enough to be here all week, starting with the pre-conference NetrootsConnect LGBT. St. Louis is a troubled city trying to do better in a purple state. It struck me as a very southern city, in pace and overripe hospitality, but with a clearly liberal bent. All of the conference hotels were unionized. Once again, VenusPlusX will be attending the annual NetrootsConnect and NetrootsNation 2016 in St. Louis, Missouri, July 13-17, and once again plan on connecting and reconnecting with local social and economic justice advocates. As in past years, the Dan Massey Trans Leadership Scholarship Fund, under the aegis of Netroots Connect/LGBT, will be offering complimentary Netroots Nation registrations to student activists living in the area. This year its greater St. Louis. The cause of sexual freedom was dealt a blow last month when our website was hacked, to pieces. Everything is back together now, and it's full steam ahead, thanks to a new, impregnable fence around our data. Sexual freedom is the bedrock of all freedoms because achievement of this penultimate freedom equates to full, universal personal sovereignty, agency over our bodies, and the opportunity for global peace. Netroots Nation Debrief: #VoteOutTheReligiousRight

Starting at LGBT NetrootsConnect (a pre-conference forum and workshop), I found a group for a morning and afternoon roundtable who, like me and others, self-select the subject of the negative influence of religion in law and policy and the religious right's erasure of church-state separation. This dialog continued in various forms throughout Netroots Nation, helping to identify more people who support the idea of #VoteOutTheReligiousRight.
